I wanted to get some pictures and video of Ellie. Since she was progressing so quickly I thought it was important to document her recovery for her doctors and therapists. I am hoping to get some video of her talking this weekend. As you know Ellie has been quite the chatterbox since before she was 18 months old, so this silence is an adjustment for us. You can see from the pictures a pronounced facial droop on her right side. That seems to be improving daily and is worse only when she is tired. She gave Tim (or as Ellie calls him, DeDe) a HUGE smile this afternoon when he came home from work.

Mom is going to hate this, but it is a really good shot of the dimple in her right cheek - Wednesday morning. We said as soon as we saw the dimple that we knew she was getting better.
